I love this blender!not only is it awesome because it's blue, it ACTUALLY works wicked great!it blends ice no problem. it blends ice so well that I had to shorten the time i was blending so it didn't get too liquidy.i'm excited to make soups and smoothies with it.. so far I've only made orange creamsicle drinks, which were SO good.

Good while it lasted

I bought this blender a few years ago. My children and I enjoy smoothies and I wanted a good blender that didn't cost $500.00. I guess the $120.00 was too much. In the blenders defense it gets used everyday, sometimes twice a day. We make smoothies of all types, some with ice some without. It did well with thick frozen fruits and with spinach and kale. This past weekend I made my morning smoothie and I noticed the motor was disengaging from the blade. I thought it was something I did, so I kept trying and it kept spinning and not working. Turns out where the blade attaches is broken somehow. I had been noticing some leaks coming from underneath where the blade is. I'm guessing it was manufactured improperly. Anyways, I'm buying a Vitamix. I gave the product 3 stars because it did the job well while it worked.

Just quit working.

Had the blender for a little over a year, used it about 3 times, even kept it in the box when not in use and it just quit working. Kitchen Aid customer service would do NOTHING for us. Well, they offered us 30% off another blender, HA!!!! Thought we were buying quality. Will not waste my money with this company again. Thanks for nothing Kitchen Aid.
