Not What I'd Expected But Serves Its Purpose

We recently bought a house with an oven cabinet that has an opening for built-in microwave. Since we didn't want to spend $1K for a real "built-in" microwave, we bought a counter top LG microwave and then this trim just to make it look nice.The trim piece ordered from Amazon arrived quickly. However, much to my surprise, there were NO instructions whatsoever included. Not sure about other experts out there, but I could only assume that most of us don't put together microwave trims that often. Thus it was quite a struggle. There were just many odd looking pieces and parts that didn't seem to fit well. I was almost tempted to box everything up and send it back. Luckily, a google search yielded some online instructions for this particular model. Still, it was a struggle putting this trim together since my cabinet was much bigger than the mounting plate. I ended up building a shelve and just put the microwave on top of that. The only thing from this trim kit we really used was the front face, which actually was the ultimate purpose anyway.As far as the quality of the trim, the front face plate seems just a bit flimsy to me (all aluminum held together by some plastic corner connectors). However, since the front plate is just for cosmetic, I am hoping that it will hold up. Compared to other trims, the LG is about half the cost, so I am assuming that the others are probably thicker or made of better materials. BTW, you will definitely need two people to install this trim and the microwave. The microwave itself is just too heavy for one person to both install the trim and hold the microwave at the same time in the air.Overall, it's OK purchase and serves our purpose. My only real complaint is the fact that it lacks the proper instructions.

After reading reviews of how most have waited for this to ship I was concerned. Sellers website said 15 in stock. I ordered and had it in one week. Instruction to install easy to use. Really like the look.

Pros - Nice sleek look, fits the related microwave well, arrived quickly.Cons - Can be a bit tricky to install, but that may be the case with all of them. This is the only one we've done.
