Great microwave, easy install.

I haven't had this microwave long, but have to give it five stars. It isn't as big as others, it isn't even as powerful as others, but it has tons of features, works well, and is simple to operate.I have never given five stars before, but I can't help it, I paid $85 for this microwave, on clearance at a local retailer, and at that price there just aren't any negatives.Really, it works great, it was dirt cheap and took about half an hour to install (mind you this is the third OTR microwave I have installed).

Great replacement for price paid

Samsung SMH1622B Although we've only had it for a short time, it's perfect. It was an easy install once we got going, although my husband did not like how the microwave was only held up by 2 bolts which he felt needed more support as our previous over-the-range microwave. Since we use it only to reheat foods, this is perfect...I don't cook in my microwave per say, but it works great. I do wish the light under the microwave was brighter but works great as a night light. The blue light that displays the numbers could have been a different color as they are hard to read from a distance (according to my husband). But all in all, the Samsung SMH1622B over the range microwave is a perfect fit for people who reheat foods and want something simple and basic. We did purchase ours elsewhere but came to Amazon.com for reviews.

When this item arrived, I knew I had made a mistake. It is obviously too large for the space I have.The Dimensions are clearly printed on the Amazon webpage, but I did not notice how large this thing is. It's only a microwave, for heaven's sake!The Amazon webpage says "Free Shipping" which is a lie. The shipping is not FREE, it is included in the price. If you try to return the item, they do not refund the shipping charge.The seller was very polite, and would accept the return no problem. However, they would subtract the "Free" shipping charge of $75.00.It was delivered FedEx, so I went to the FedEx website to get a quote on return shipping: $107So, I paid $238 for the item. If I return it, they refund me $173. If that $173, I pay $107 to return it, which leaves me with $66, no microwave and 2 pieces of paper from FedEx, showing that I paid them $182 to drive a microwave that I don't own around the country.Amazon should stop advertising "Free Shipping" when it is not Free. If it is included in the price, then say so. Anything else is deceptive.As I am typing this review, there is a sidebar on the Amazon page that says: "What makes a good review?...What would you have wanted to know before you purchased the product?"I would have liked to know the actual price of the item, not the price plus Free Shipping.
